Counsellors Familiarization TourÌý

ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓÆµ organizes a hybrid familiarisation tour for secondary school counselors and student recruitment agents. The tour welcomes attendees from across the globe who gain the opportunity to not only tour Nova Scotia educational institutions, but also experience the warmth, beauty, and hospitality of the province.ÌýÌý

This tour has gained a strong reputation among counsellors due to the quality and pace of activities. This tour affords counsellors the opportunity to experience the beauty and culture of Nova Scotia by visiting local tourist sites and participating in activities. This tour equips counsellors with a better understanding of life in Nova Scotia in order to promote as a prime study destination.Ìý

We extend a warm welcome to school counsellors and independent education consultants joining us on this exclusive tour of Nova Scotia universities. Your presence enriches our journey as we explore the diverse academic offerings and vibrant campus cultures of our institutions. We are excited to showcase the opportunities available to students in this picturesque province and look forward to fostering meaningful connections and fruitful collaborations during our time together. Who is eligible for tour for this tour:
This tour is for school counselors and independent education consultants who provide support to international students.Ìý

What will be covered on the tour?Ìý
You will visit six participating universities in Nova Scotia. This tour also includes opportunities for cultural experiences and sightseeing in our picturesque province.Ìý

The six participating universities will cover the cost of your ground transportation, accommodations, and all meals that are offered during the course of the itinerary (starting with your dinner on July 20th and ending with your breakfast on July 25th.)Ìý

The universities will not cover the cost of your flight to and from Halifax, and participants must arrange their own flight.Ìý

How can I apply?
Please use theÌý and apply before April 30th. Your application will be reviewed by the participating universities. Space is limited, and applicants are not guaranteed a place on this tour. If you are selected to attend, you will be informed by May 7th.

Following May 7th, you will be asked to submit an additional information form where you can update us about your accessibility needs, dietary restrictions, and other information to help plan for your visit.Ìý

If you are not selected to join us on the tour this year, we will be happy to keep you informed about opportunities to visit in the future.Ìý

Can I bring my partner/spouse if they are travelling with me?
This tour covers the cost for the counsellor only.Ìý
